What is left of our snow. As soon as it melts in the back yard, we'll be putting in the garden!
The boys seem to find Alli's toys more fascinating then their own. The boys and I built forts out of the puzzle foam, then Daddy made block heads for a BLOCK HEAD BATTLE!
Wish I could get pictures of the boys, but they won't sit still for me, or they give me a fake smile. I'm hope'n to get some professional pictures done soon of the family. Let me know if you want one so I can send it your way.
It's been a week since we had the BIG dump of snow and still my driveway looks like this. I'm sure you guys already heard that the Governor had declared this area, which included the Pullman area as well, a state of emergency. We had the national guard come out last Saturday with dump trucks and bulldozers to help clear out the snow so we can drive with two lanes, and try to avoid collisions. We are expected to get some more snow these coming weeks. So blessed to have EWU, the grocery store, and my work with in a 10 block distance.
It snowed all last night and all day today. Forecast says we can probably see another 18 inches by next weekend. James got out the snow shovel to try to keep up with the snow so he wouldn't be trying to move 2 feet deep snow off the sidewalks and driveway this Tuesday in order for me to get to work. Yep, the snow has flooded our streets so bad that James helped push 3 cars out of it just on our block. James, Rissa, Ian, and mama Cleome are also celebrating tonight cause there is no school tomorrow for EWU students!
Can't forget the littlest monkey when it comes to all this snow action.
This is a picture of what the family did with all the snow. James and the boys made the four layer snowman, and Rissa made the snow cave. I spent most of the time in doors making potato soup and jalapeno bread. We truly had a blast today!
...this is how it ended. Hot cocoa, hot baths, and warm snuggle time with Daddy on the couch...perfect
