Farewell Camping with my boys

Sabbath morning James sprung upon me the idea of camping before the boys leave to Canada. So, we did. After church we raced home, packed the car, and raced off to the mountains. I need to also mention that James talked are friends John and Angela with their children into going. I'm so glad they went. The more the merrier. The boys fished and played hard. They ended the day with an adventurous morel mushroom hunt.

I love this picture! Andrew sporting his dirt mustache, and Wes with his prized capture.

Isn't this little guy so cute?

James made breakfast. Pancakes with fresh strawberries and homemade blueberry/strawberry jam. Since this trip was spur of the moment, we were destined to leave something behind. I forgot the oil. But a friendly neighbor come to our rescue when I presented my frying pan with a desperate face.

The neighbors were very friendly at this campground. They saw we had kids and gave us their left over colossal size marshmallows and chocolate bars. The size of these marshmallows were like four regulars put together. The kids loved them! We all enjoyed them. Thank- you Hunny for such a great time. Family memories that will last forever.
